Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping and Packing Questions

What is the best way to send my project to you?

Gather all your original materials and put them into groups with labels if you would like them to be transferred in a certain sequence. Then, place them in a plastic bag, within a cardboard box with soft packing materials. It is best to avoid packing materials that generate dust (like newspaper).

Make sure to include the order confirmation that you received in your email after ordering online or a completed and printed offline PDF order form.

Which shipping carrier should I use?

Choose a shipping carrier with a tracking service like UPS, or FEDEX. You are welcome to use any shipping provider you feel comfortable with, but we recommend to use one with a tracking service.

What address should I ship my project to?

As stated on our contact page and on the order confirmation page, ship your project to FilmTransfer.com, 3336 Commercial Ave., Northbrook, IL 60062.

Will you notify me when my project is ready to be shipped or picked up?

Yes, you will receive occassional email updates about your order. If we need to speak with you directly regarding your order we will call you.

How will you ship my project back to me?

We trust UPS as our shipping provider. Your order will be shipped out via UPS Ground.

If you would like to expedite your shipping to next day air or something else, we can accomodate. We will cover the cost of the Ground shipping and you will be responsible for the remainder cost of the upgrade. Please call for more information.
