We're glad to now offer Spirit HD and 2K film scanning services for 16mm and 35mm film. Some of our clients include historical societies, documentary film makers, and families with old film. Spirit HD/2K Advantages

The Spirit produces tack-sharp HD/2K transfers that are as crisp and crystal-clear as the original. We capture the full dynamic range and color depth of film to ensure there is no film-to-digital degradation during the process.

The Spirit offers full primary color correction, allowing our skilled colorists to compensate for improper exposure, wrong filters, and faded dyes which are common characteristics of older and newer films alike.

Source Film

We accept 16mm negative/reversal (optical and magnetic) and all 35mm film formats for transfer on our Spirit 2K Telecine.

 

Deliverable

All Spirit High-Definition transfers are deliverable on HDCAM-SR, as data on external hard drive, Blu-ray, and/or DVD. Data can be delivered in AVI or MOV format as well as DPX/TIF files.

Spirit 2K scanning is deliverable as data on external hard drive as Pro-res HQ files and DPX/TIF files.
