Today I was able to sit down and look at the DVDs (from vintage films) just dropped off at the museum Saturday, and I'm ecstatic on many levels. The 1958 "Education for Responsibility" is a film I may have mentioned that we already had, but in poor quality. I spent some frustrated time last fall trying to make it usable as something for our museum patrons, to no avail.
The cleaned-up, brightened, fully restored version you just gave us is magnificent...I'm hard-pressed to find a vintage film we have that's brighter, sharper, and just all around "better." We were all thrilled, watching it, and we've been showing it to everyone we can. A thousand thanks.
"Fit for the Future" (1938) is one we've had in a copy I once thought looked pretty good -- until I just watched the (again) cleaned-up, sharpened, wonderful job the company just did. And best of all, nearly a full minute of "lost" audio we've wished we had for years, is there, in full, crisp clarity. It was just a thrill to watch it as it was meant to be seen and heard!

I just wanted to let you know that I received my 70 or so 8mm reels on Thursday along with the hard drive filled with the Apple ProRes 422 HQ files and I am so thrilled with the results! I have uploaded a movie to YouTube made of several clips that I thought might be of interest to my relatives (in the films). This is in High Def, so I think it looks simply smashing!
I anticipate that I will be sending other films to you in the near future.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the film transfer you completed for us. The turn around time was exactly as you had promised and the quality was excellent. The DVD brought tears to my mother-in-law's eyes! My in-laws had used another company a few years ago for transferring some of their films and the quality of your work far exceeded what they had done. It was an easy, no-hassle process. We'll plan to use your company for any future film transfer projects we may need. Thanks again.

I have been using your service for several years and have transferred many 8mm films that my dad took in the ’40s, ’50s, and ’60s. These are many precious memories that I am now able to share with family and friends thanks to your first-rate, excellent service. Nothing can replace these videos and I am very grateful that I have a company that I can trust with them.

Eric, wanted to let you know that I received all of the 8mm films on my hard disk drive and CD OK. The HD (.avi) quality is great for 40+ year old films. Please thank the person that put this together for me. Great job.

The transfer is pretty remarkable. I've been sending a comparison pic of my family between the VHS version and this new encode. Amazing difference.
